The purpose of advertising on this website is to let our Members know what other dance activities are available. We want you to be able to tell them about events you are holding, classes you run on a weekly basis, the latest music, special events, dancewear or anything else that you can offer that is relevant to our Members.

We have three different ways you can advertise:

• Targeted Advertising – based on location and dance style
• Noticeboard    – blanket coverage for specific events
• Reciprocal Links – exchange of our website addresses for yours

This is most likely to produce the greatest results for you on a long-term basis, as it is based on the location and the dance style the browser or member is using during their search.

Each time the database is searched, a page appears showing details of profiles available within their target area. At the same time, relevant adverts are displayed on a rotational basis down the right-hand side. There will be 8 adverts shown each time the page is refreshed or a new search begun. Bearing in mind that the greatest use of our website will be in the browsing, once we are established we can expect this tool to be used hundreds of times a day if not more, therefore your own business will receive massive exposure and mostly importantly you will reach your target audience, the marketing director’s dream.

In addition, it is known fact, that even if people do not click on your website immediately there attention drawn to your business, and eventually your business will become part of their unconscious awareness, so that when you advertise e.g. on our Noticeboard or in other locations, you already have your foot in the door.

The advertisements for targeted advertising must follow the same format. No variability is allowed to give each business an equal opportunity for success, and a template is therefore provided, which can be edited up to 3 times once live.

The cost for a single advert is usually £10 per month, but we are giving all advertisers an Introductory price of £5 per month per advert up to the end of August 2007. You can place as many adverts in many locations as you want, provided you pay for each one separately.

These are advertising pages that can be used by individuals and businesses alike. These web pages look like and operate just like any other noticeboard. You can rent a space for a period of up to 3 months, after which it will automatically be removed from the site. The Noticeboard has advertising space of different sizes and you can group blocks together to create the size you require.

This will be used mostly by organisations wanting to advertise specific events, and of course, these adverts receive blanket coverage, as they are visible to anyone at all who clicks of the Noticeboard. We expect the Noticeboard to arouse a lot of interest from the general public.

Adverts are priced according to the page they are on.

Noticeboard Advertising Fees
Page 1, the maximum cost of any advert for 1 month is £20.
Page 2, the maximum cost of any advert for 1 month is £18.
Page 3, the maximum cost of any advert for 1 month is £16.

Further pages all attract the same rate as follows:
Page 4 onwards: max cost of any advert for 1 month is £15.

On all pages there are plenty of other (cheaper options) if you wish.

To place your advert on the noticeboard you simply click on the boxes you wish to buy, pay by Paypal for your advert and email your advert to adverts@dancepartnersuk.com . Please note that JPEG or GIF file formats are required for your adverts.

Any improper adverts, or adverts by either individuals or businesses requesting dance partners will be immediately removed, and no refund will be issued!
